Starting a Winter Look for the Living Room

This has been the look in the Living Room for a while.  Then I found some fabulous new fabrics that I showed you and I thought they would be wonderful to give the room a warm  cozy winter look.

This brown embroidered fabric is just yummy, and the texture of the green is so elegant.  Love them both.

This is the combination I made for the other side of the sofa.

Love the new warm and cozy looking fabrics.

I am busy changing up the rest of the room.

Kim @ Savvy Southern Style is going to be the new hostess for the Before and After party.  She is going to have her first party next Wednesday.  Be sure to grab her button on my sidebar and join her with all of your new creations and changes.

Check back for Table Top Tuesday and her Before and After party next week for the total reveal.    Hopefully I will have it done by then.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I always look forward to your visits.

That brown fabric is speaking to me! Isn't it great how it picks up the warmth of the wood tones in your tables and the brown leather chair (peeking through the mirror)?Another party. .. hm-m-m-, we'll see! Thank you for showing us your talent at sewing and decorating.

  5. Those look great, Marty. I am wanting to do cooler colors in my living room but I think I will wait until after the holidays. The warm colors are so nice and welcoming, aren't they. You couch is begging for someone to relax with hot cocoa!

  34. You are so talented and love the fabric color combination. You inspired me this summer to make a set of pillows for my sofa. I am by far not a seamstress and they actually turned out pretty nice. So again you have inspired me to forge ahead and make more. I need to work on sewing a straight line, I tend to go all over the place, LOL. I am not a blogger but I love to follow you and your projects. Thanks.
