How exciting. We are at # 111. Wow, that is a bunch of weeks we have been sharing our tabletops. I am having a ball, I hope you all are too. I thought with spring here, it was time to add a little spring to the living room, so here is a look at where we are now.
These are the pillows and accessories I've had in the living room since the last of January. I loved how calm the beige and white was for the winter.
However now I think it is time for some bright cheery colors. Spring is here. Nothing new, just shopping the house through my pillow stash. I am sure you remember all of these.
Tulips and plaids. Love the mix of fabrics.
I changed the table cover back to an orange print also.
An orange runner on the coffee table too.
The ottoman is covered in a brown that seemed too dark for my spring look, so I draped a white throw over it.
More plaid on the dining table.
Yes you did see a lot of guitar cases behind the table. My son and grandson use our tools to build guitars, so they have quite a few here that they work on and play. I love that they like to be here, so no way am I going to say no to all the mess. I just enjoy it and love the music.
My favorite tureen with all it's beautiful colored fruit is on the buffet.
So back to a bright and cheery look for Spring. I love these colors, they always make me happy.
So, are you changing things around for Spring?
Hello Marty, your spring colors are refreshing. Yes let those grandchildren play that music. Thanks for hosting. hugs, olive

ReplyDeleteGood for you for letting your grandchildren's guitars to find a resting spot in your dining room. My son has a vintage guitar that he would like to work on, but we don't have the tools he needs (a hole reamer) and I don't even know where to get one.
ReplyDeleteLove the hits of orange and green to your living room for spring.
Looks so pretty, Marty! Love how you change your look by popping on different pillows! Do you make pillow slips or do you have all pillows? I find it's hard to store lots of pillows. Always need more room.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
shelia ;)
Marty, I remember your pillows and accessories, and still think they're so pretty. You chose great colors and patterns, which to me, are timeless.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun having your son and grandson so close and loving to come to your house? Enjoy.

ReplyDeleteMorning Marty, I love that huge mirror in the room. You could really primp in that one. :) The room is so calming and serene, it would be a delight to just sit and read there but your addition of the Spring colors is a breath of fresh air....but still subtle. I love the instruments. When my boys were young I loved all the music played loudly in the house. Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for hosting. xo
