Guest Bedroom Sneak Peek

Just stopping for a minute to say, I really am working on that guest bedroom.  I just finished painting it using my favorite color ever.  It is Valspar by Lowe's and the color is Fioli Antique Lace.  It is a soft beige with a camel undertone.  It just goes with everything and every color.

See how well the drapery fabric goes with it.  This room is really small, just 10 x 11, so I am trying to keep all the background soft and the same color so the room will have a larger appearance.

The carpet is a beige with some of the same camel undertones, so it creates a completely monotone background.  Perfect for such a small space.  Color will be added with the bedding and accessories.

OK, I have a ton of sewing to do.  Dust ruffle, drapes and pillows.  Off to work.  I am on a mission to finally get this room done.

  12. It's going to look beautiful and restful with these colors, Marty! It makes me think of our condo {the open areas} with the light tan walls and the tan carpeting, too. It does make it feel even more open and light. Can't wait to see the bedding!

  23. Great idea to start with a neutral base. Now you can change out the accent colors whenever you get the inclination. Hmmmm....maybe that's dangerous :)
    Have a great weekend!
