When I think of France, I think of tables filled with good wine, grapes, bread and cheese arranged in a tray with grain sack linens. Or let's pretend we are in the countryside and have a fabulous view of the grape orchard and fields beyond.
Good food, good wine, good company. What could be better than that.
Thanks for taking a little mini vacation with me to the countryside of France.

Marty when we went to Paris, Our favorite dinners were at a big table with a tray of fruit, cheese and wonderful French bread and wine. It is the best!!! No one does it quite like the FRENCH!

I absolutely love your tablescapes. I always considered myself vignette challenged as I would have to do and redo so many times & items I had thought would be perfect just weren't. I have only recently learned that this is actually pretty normal. Knowing it has given me the courage to start playing with displays all the time. I want to thank you as you are one of my teachers. I am always excited to see your posts to see what I can learn and try today. Once I decide on the look I hunt for height and texture first. I'm a collector (hoarder) of many things so I always shop my stuff. Anyway, don't mean to ramble. Just wanted to thank you for your inspiration and compliment your talent.
ReplyDeleteMarty, this is so perfect. I love the French country look too, and you have executed it beautifully. I am coveting that wine carrier, and I've always loved your scale. Well done! laurie
