Mixing Silver & Gold & A Giveaway

I love glitz and glitter and anything that shines, so I really can't limit myself to just gold or silver.  I love them both.  I especially love them mixed together.

This year for the holidays I am going with a lot of glitz.  I found a box in the garage with a mirror ball that I forgot I had from years ago, so great time to pull it out and use it in my decor.

It makes a great addition to my buffet to go with my fabulous silver and gold family tree.

I am already using small mirror balls on the tray and a really sparkly beaded and sequin acorn.

Silver, gold, crystal drops, sparkle and shine.  What could be better.

The candles give off such a fabulous glow.

The lamp on the buffet is gold, my huge mirror over the sofa is gold and so is the chandy in the dining area.  Throw in a few assorted gold and silver accessories and they all live happily together.

Ok, now for some glitzy shine for one of you.
Remember when I bought the black with gold foil lined shades for my chandy --

Well, it didn't work out for me, but rather than take them to Goodwill, I thought maybe one of you might want them.  Six gorgeous shades that measure 51/2 inches tall and 6 inches across the bottom.

I can't wait to ship a little sparkle off to one of you.  Just follow the instructions on the entry form below.

  3. Such a pretty mix of metals Marty! Also much more free than the old rigid ways of all gold, all silver, and much easier to decorate! Happy Halloween to you.

  6. Very pretty mixing the two, Marty! I love how the little mirror balls "mirror" the larger ball. That's a lot of mirroring going on! : )

Your family tree is fabulous! The Everything else is just icing on the cake!

If you were to see my dining room you would say "Janis. these shades were made for that chandy!" They are absolutely perfect and would bring a little of your glitz and glamour to my depressed dining room.
