Christmas Decor Ideas

There is so much Christmas decor every where you look, but wow, is it all amazing.  I was in At Home (formerly Garden Ridge) the other day and I was just amazed.

This is what greeted me at the front door.

There is so much stacked on this display, you could stand here for an hour and just drool.

I love the Mad Hatters Hats and they have an unreal selection of Santas and Angels.

I've never seen trees in so many colors.  Red,green, orange, purple, pink, turquoise, royal blue, black, you name it and it is here.  Plus they have tons of different sizes in standard greens.

There are huge long aisles of ornaments in every color pallet imaginable.

Need some of the turquoise, purple, pink or black.  It's all here and even a little orange too.

I brought home a few things, but I felt like a real wimp.  No wild fabulous colors, just a little white, silver and gold.

So, how about you,  are you doing a traditional tree, or are you being adventurous and going for color.

Be sure to get all of your projects lined up for Inspire Me Tuesday.  Party goes live this afternoon at 3 PM CMT.  Can't wait to see you there.

I am joining the following parties:

  1. Good grief at the ornaments! I would be overwhelmed with all of that. No wild colors here...just my normal red and green and more red everywhere. :) I did not know that Garden Ridge had changed names. Thanks for taking us shopping along with you!

  3. Good Sunday Morning Marty,
I am going to have to check this place out. There is one by me and I have to say I have never been in there. Must change that! I am adding red nordic theme this year to my whites. I am excited to work with the red. Have a great rest of the week end. Love all your goodies you found.

  6. There is one that just opened off the 51 and Cactus so now there are three. They have the best selection for ready to go outdoor cushions for patio furniture that I have ever seen. Patio furniture gets year round use here and the sun wears them out, which makes this store a great addition.

  10. Marty, I am going for the winter wonderland look this year. I started gathering things all summer long from yard sales and thrift stores.
I am taking my traditional red ornaments and decorations to my daughter. She has five trees, so she will definitely be able to use them.
I sold a lot of my traditional decoration in the yard sale yesterday as well. I love the look you are going for, you found some really pretty things to decorate with this year.

  17. Thanks for the reminder to check out At Home. A few months ago, one opened near us. I need to check it out again. Looks like you found some really pretty things. Gold and silver are favorite colors at our house, too. We have a "family tree" with ornaments collected over the years and some made by our son when he was in school, and some made by the grandsons. Looking forward to seeing your tree.

  22. Hi Marty, I enlarged every single pictue and was in awe. Wish we had a store like that here but we don't. What happens to me in a store like that is that I want everything so I get nothing!
