Classic Black & White Stripe

The last of my purchases on my trip to Ikea were a gorgeous black and white stripe throw.  I thought it would be perfect to go with the black and white stripes I have in my master bedroom drapes and bedding.  Now, you know me, I couldn't leave it alone, I had to change it up a bit.

How about some big fluffy pom-poms.  ( I am a copy-cat here, I've seen this throw all over blogland with tassel's, and I just had to have one too.)

Add in a classic pillow --(I made this pillow with the greek key monogram iron on decal from 11Magnolia Lane Etsy - -- This adds tons of punch, drama and chic elegance to a plain pillow for $15.

and you have a simple but elegant classic room.

Maybe a simple black and white stripe pillow for a more casual look -(Another Ikea basic)

and a little more masculine.

I think I like it with a little bit of color for now.

I do like how the stripes echo the stripe edging on the drapes and the shams-

and I definitely think the pom-poms are fun.

No wonder it's so popular, it makes a statement in any room.  I would call this an Ikea basic, definitely a must have.

How about you, are you a stripe and pom-pom kind of girl?
