ReplyDeleteI did a double-take at this picture, Marty -- the same image which used to hang over my bed when I was very little.

I really like your picture of Jesus praying. During any tragedy we must give it all to Him. That's where the strength to go on comes from. Great mental image for such a sad anniversary.

Beautiful sentiments Marty. May God bless you and America and keep it safe! FABBY
ReplyDeleteIndeed. So many lost their lives that day, and so many heroes were made as well. I was proud that my husband served a term in Iraq a couple years after that day, leaving me and my baby in our new farmhouse to pray he'd come back and start our new life with us; and I have to be honest and say that I am glad he has retired now, and I don't have to worry about doing it again. :) I have so much respect for those who do: it's a really hard thing. Very thankful for those who serve as guardians and heroes for our country.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers have been lifted with yours today.
ReplyDeleteBravo, Marty. God Bless America.
ReplyDeleteAmen, Marty..
