Some Great Retail Therapy

I have always loved brass, so I am so glad it is back in favor.  I found a few more pieces to add to my collection at goodwill.  So glad they think it is passe', because they had all of these pieces marked $1.99 and then 25% off for Seniors day.  Yip-Skip I got a bargain.

I love candlesticks, they can be used anywhere, and finding a fabulous footed planter is such a treasure too.  I also love this gold and cream swirl planter.

The large candlesticks are quite substantial and can hold tapers or pillars.

This smaller pair of candlesticks will be perfect to tuck into small spaces.

That gorgeous gold swirl  planter found a home immediately, and those cute little votive holders were also one of today's finds.

Seems like it turned out to be a week of shopping.  I went across town to have lunch with a friend and of course I always have to stop in at Marshall's.  I found several treasures there.

I have been looking for a nice large white tray and couldn't resist this gorgeous ostrich leather one.  Perfect size.  I love, love, love it.

I fell in love with this wonderful gold leaf on glass dish.  Marked down to $8 on the clearance aisle.  Who could pass this up.

I have a couple of magnifying glasses and this one with horn feet will be fabulous to add to my collection.  This now makes 3 and they say 3 of anything is a collection.

So what new treasures have you found lately?

When I came home this was sitting on the counter.  A nice big bowl of Boysenberries.

Now they say that these stickerless vines won't grown in the desert.  I am thrilled no one told our vine because it is going crazy.

Be sure to come back and link up this afternoon to Inspire Me Tuesday.  Party goes live at 3 PM.  Can't wait to see what you have been up to.
