Kitchen Renovation Resource List & Cost

I ran this once before when the kitchen was finished, but I have had so many email me and ask about all the details, so I thought rather than keep answering it in so many emails, I would run this post again.

Thanks for all the fabulous compliments about my Kitchen Remodel.  ( If you missed the “Reveal” post, you can see it here. )  I am thrilled with how it turned out.  Many of you asked for resources so I thought I would share all the details.

The original kitchen was definitely off the counter builder basic.

So when I decided to replace a few cabinets and add a few others, I bought the stock oak off the counter cabinets at Lowes.  These matched perfectly with the ones I already had.

Raising the microwave cabinet, adding in the new cabinets and adding crown molding was all the “new” that was added to the existing kitchen..  Stock Crown Molding from Lowes.  I hired a painter to spray the cabinets Swiss Coffee and then he sealed them with Lacquer.

Appliances are all Samsung purchased at Lowes.

The floors are NuCore from Floor & Decor.  They are a laminate that is 100% waterproof.  The color is Gunstock Oak.

The granite is called Kashmir White  – I love the shades of cream, white, gray and brown with just a touch of gold.  We bought it from Aracruz International in Phoenix, Az.

Cabinet Hardware is Amber Gold Steel Bar Pulls from Cool Knobs & Pulls.

Backsplash is Carrera Marble from Floor & Decor layed in a brick pattern.

Pendant lights – Bubble Glass & Brass from Amazon.

Breakfast area light – Wayfair

Saturday the very last two things that finished off the kitchen were my sliding shelves in the two new 24″ base cabinets.  They came without any shelves, so I contacted Shelves That Slide here in Phoenix and they came out, measured and made custom shelves with a lifetime guarantee for these two units.

The shelves in the island hold all my mixing bowls.

The shelves beside the stove are perfect to hold all my every day use pots and pans.

My contractor is Abel – He is the same person that did my floors in my previous home.  He installed the floors in this home and also was the person that suggested the Cabinet Painters and the Granite Fabricators.  He removed the cabinets that I was replacing and reconfigured and installed the new cabinets. He is a jack of all trades and can do anything.  He also installed my backsplash. He is a prince and all of his crew are so fun to work with.  I love how they laugh and smile all day when they work.  Always prompt and totally professional.  If you live in the Phoenix area, give Abel a call if you need some work done.  602-471-1602  He is Affordable, fair and his work is top notch.

I am thrilled with how my Kitchen Makeover turned out.   I get a huge smile every time I walk in and I love working in it.  Plenty of space to spread out and comfortable for two people to cook together too.  I think my new kitchen is the jewel of the whole house.

I love your kitchen! Would you share the brand and color of your wall paint? Thank you!
**I wish I could hire Abel, but I’m not in the Phoenix area. 😔
