Easter’s On It’s Way – Home Tour

Welcome & Happy Easter.  I am thrilled to be joining Amber @ Follow The Yellow Brick Home for her annual Easter’s On It’s Way Home Tour.  If you are coming over from Amber’s house, I know you were inspired by her beautiful Easter decor.  She always goes way above and beyond and it is always beautiuful.  I am also joining a fabulous list of ladies that will be sharing their Easter decor and traditions.  You can find the full lineup at the end of my post.

Easter will be a little different this year since we are all staying home.  With the current circumstances around the world, I think it is even more reason to celebrate Easter.  We don’t know what is ahead of us, but we do know that the Lord is in control.  Let’s praise Him and give thanks that He has Risen.   I pray you are all well and safe and that you can spend this time reflecting on His Goodness.

Easter and Spring just seem to scream pretty soft pastel colors, so I decided that is exactly what I needed.   For spring I’ve had some pretty yellows in here, but I thought I would change things up and use some soft blues for Easter similar to what I did last year.

I changed out a few pillows and redid a few accessories for a quick change.

A few flowering branch stems in a pretty jar and a wonderful dish with some marble eggs on the coffee table.

These chess pieces are favorites and they always add interest.

I use to have quite a few rabbits of different sizes and shapes, but when we moved and I was purging, it seems like I took them all to Goodwill.  I don’t currently have any, but I do have a great collection of marble eggs.

I picked out some pretty soft colors and added them to the dish on the coffee table.  That’s my homage to Easter.

One of my favorite things about this house are the 9ft. windows.  I adore all that light.  My tall plant really loves this light too.  It is growing like a weed.

The white chair in the front window really does become my dumpling ground most of the time.  I walk in the door, take off my shoes (I love to go barefoot) and drop my bag.  For this picture, I did straighten them all up a bit.

The soft blue is a pretty change for Easter and a favorite color scheme.

The adjoining Dining Area got a little touch of blue too.

Again I thought I would showcase a few of my Egg collection.  Two Faberge eggs and two crystal ones.

A huge bunch of tulips are always a favorite too.

That’s it for our Easter.  I hope you enjoyed looking around.

Earlier I shared my step by step tutorial on Setting The Perfect Easter Table.

The soft blues are such a nice nod to springtime and I find there is nothing like blooming branches, like those you added to the jar on your coffee table. Blooming branches are sucha sign of the rebirth and spring. May you find some joy in this Easter despite the difficult times we are going through.
