Moving Furniture Around

Are you as bored as I am?  We have been working in the yard and that is coming along.  I have also been trying to rearrange the patio and create something new there too.  I just need something new to look at.  I think with us all home all the time we really get tired of looking at the same thing.  Now don’t get me wrong, I am grateful for my home and love my “things”.  I just need to shuffle things around a little for a different look.  So I am “Moving Furniture Around” again.

This time it is the kitchen breakfast area.  I don’t move things around in here too much.  I do change the table setting about every 10 minutes (exaggeration).  The furniture, however, stays pretty much the same.  When I moved the two wicker end chairs in here, I really liked the new arrangement, so nothing has changed.

Here is what we’ve had.  The breakfast area is on the other side of the kitchen.  So I have had my antique butter churn as the focal point when you look across the room.

I really enjoy this little piece, and I change the decor every 10 minutes on it too.  It a really fun really old antique butter churn.

Can you imagine sitting there turning the crank to make a HUGE batch of butter?  This would make a lot.

I’ve had my wine rack in the dining area for the last couple of years.  It works really well there, but time to move things around a bit.  I think the breakfast area is a good fit.

Having a small selection when we entertain is all we want, so this wine rack has been the perfect size.  I keep whites on top, pink in the middle and red on the bottom.

I like having the wine rack here for a change.  I put the butter churn under the clock.  So now both pieces have a special spot.

We’ve been working on the patio too.  I have some cushions from the old house that I might switch out and see about adding some different accessories.  I will share when I come up with a plan.

How about you, are you switching things around too?

    Marty,
I do like the change in the breakfast room!
The height of the wine rack balances your butter churn and clock quite nicely.
I’ve been wanting to bring the red club chairs up from the Family Room
to the upper level Living Room, but will need some strong muscle help.
    Time will tell.
For now, I’m Spring Cleaning the Master Bedroom.
