Our Family Christmas

This year was wonderful that we could all be together again.  We missed a few family members that couldn’t make it, but we got to talk to them, so that was a blessing.  Just being together seemed like such a treat after all the separation from the last 1 1/2 years.  I took a few candid shots of all that was going on, but somehow I missed that big group shot.  Next time I need to pay more attention.  Mostly I just had fun watching everyone interact.  With everyone moving around and talking and having fun, these are real casual in-action shots.  Watching my children, the grand, aunts and uncles all having fun together is to best time ever.

We had Christmas Eve at my daughter’s house.  This is her beautiful tree.  She always creates something different every year and this was a favorite.  We enjoy being together, having dinner, and our family gift exchange.  (We draw names, so this is a fun time seeing what everyone got.  We always put a $50 limit on the gifts, so that makes it even more fun.)

These are just random shots of all the fun.  Watching everyone enjoy being together was the most fun for me.

As you can see, we don’t do staged shots, just everyone having fun and enjoying time together.

I love my family and it was so wonderful to be together this year.  I hope you and your family had as much fun as we did.

Looks like a lovely family celebration in a beautifully decorated, festive home. So glad you could be together, Marty! xo

Merry Christmas. Can you share your daughter’s flooring? I am hoping to win the lottery so I can replace my carpet and tile!

I am so sorry, this was a custom home they bought 3 years ago and she doesn’t know what brand or name it is.
