Feb Pinterest Challenge – A Tulip Door Basket

How fun to be joining the February Pinterest Challenge.  This is where our hostess Cindy@CountyRoad407 shares a beautiful design she saw on Pinterest and asks each of us to create our version or interpretation of the same design.

This month we were given this pretty picture from Chatfield Court.  She shares how to make this pretty tulip wreath.

I’ve had a wreath on my door for Christmas and Winter, so I thought doing a hanging basket for Spring would be fun.  My version is how to create a pretty Door Basket with Tulips.

I have a big tub of faux flowers that I like to repurpose from season to season and these tulips are a favorite.  This basket is large, so there is plenty of room to include a couple of different kinds of flowers with the tulips.

I am also in the midst of changing up my living room for the 2024 Spring Home Tour, so I always like for my front door to reflect the design you will find inside.

I’m using tones of soft camel inside, so the brighter camel tones of the tulips and flowers in the basket are a nice compliment to what you will see inside.  Our house is very light in color and the bright sun tends to wash color out, so the brighter camel and orange tones show up better on the door.

I love tulips and anyway you mix them up, they are always stunning.

If you came over from The House on Silverado, welcome.  She always amazes me with her talent.  I love her style and I am sure you loved her post too.

Next up on the tour is My Family Thyme.  I can’t wait to see what she creates.  Be sure to check her post out and then click on any of the links below to see all of the posts.
