Fabric Samples for the Chair

I have been looking for just the right fabric to reupholster the beige recliner..  I sent for a couple of samples, since I didn’t find anything at the fabric stores here.

I just can’t get a check out of my mind.  Love that look.  These two fabrics both would work.

 This one is a heavy duty chenille and a great shade of brown and cream.

 This one is a really heavy cotton, love the smaller buffalo checks and I love, love, love the camel color.  Maybe not the best fabric for a chair that will get a ton of use.

 I love having all the main furniture pieces a neutral, then I can play with pillows and accessories, so maybe I just need to hunt for a neutral.

I definitely think I need a pillow.  I am going to order some of the camel check and play with that a little for some pillows and maybe to cover the cushion on the wicker chair.

Ok, you’ve all seen this room a thousand times, this is what we are working with and the beige recliner is what is either being reupholstered or replaced.

Ok, the hubs thinks I should buy a leather chair.  Now I love leather and heaven knows we already have 3 leather chairs, and yes I adore them all.  How do you feel about leather and how do you feel about mixing colors of leather.  Also, there are 3 different chairs in this room.  Should something kind of match?
