More Fabulous Shopping-Furniture Overload

To continue on with the shopping trip, my next stop was at my favorite Fabric Store.  I’ve shown you this place several times, it is Home Fabrics at 32nd St. and Cactus in Phoenix.

I got a chuckle, as people would peak out from one of the aisles and see me taking pics, they would real fast duck back in.  I didn’t want to take their pic without their permission, so I only snapped when they weren’t in the aisle.  It was early and they had just opened, but there were about a dozen customers already.  The store loves for people to take pics and publicize their place, it really is amazing.

I was looking for a red and cream windowpane check or a black and cream ticking.  I didn’t find either one.  However these are all gorgeous designer fabrics and around $5.95 a yd.

I love fabric, so I could spend hours in there just drooling.

My next stop was at Hotel Liquidators at Greenway Pkwy between 32nd St. and Cave Creek in Phoenix.  Now this is a place that takes some time.  You can’t even imagine how much is in this place.  A huge warehouse and totally stuffed to the brim as you will see.  The prices are totally pennies on the dollar. Very affordable.

They have one of each style chair sitting in front of the stacks so you can see and sit.  They will re-upholster these pieces for you too.  I don’t know the price of that,  Usually the fabrics on the chairs are in fabulous condition if you can use that color and style.  That solid green in the top left of the pic is really a lovely turquoise and such a beautiful style chair.  It was $59 .

 Bedspreads and Drapes.

This was my purchase.  This is what it looked like when I bought it.

Here it is all painted black and distressed a little.   I think it turned out pretty good and the price is fantastic. $79

They have a free bin, so while I was waiting to be loaded, I was going through the picture section.  I love this print, so it had to come home too.

It is a copy of a painting done by Harry Booker in 1892.  I have always loved his work.  Such simple paintings that tell such a complete story of a much different lifetime.  Reframed, this will be fabulous.

Most of the chairs are around $39 to $79 and most of the tables you saw were around $25 to $40.  Lamps average about $19 and paintings are around $20 or so.  I always have so much fun browsing this place.  You just never know what treasure you will find.  Now I just need to go back and see if I can find a dresser or night stands.

So, did you see anything interesting?
