You know how you feel when you find the perfect lamp, well that is how I felt about the one I have in the family room next to the sofa. I bought it at Steinmart and there was only one, but I loved it, so I bought it anyway.
Well, what would be the odds of finding the mate 2 years later at TJ Maxx? I was so excited I could hardly stand it.
Now I have the pair. I am loving it. It was more than time to put the rooster lamp that was previously here out in the barn.
The next thing on my “looking for” list was a couple of these gorgeous floral arrangements. Now we have all seen them at some really high prices anywhere from $19.99 to $49.99 depending on size and flowers. I bought two the other day, one was small like these and the other was a faux orchid. When I got them home, neither one worked. The orchid was too skinny and just didn’t work where I wanted it, and the smaller vase arrangement was too tall. I needed something short and compact.
So, after I returned them I stopped by the Dollar Tree and found the white roses I wanted. Two bunches of buds and 1 bunch of opened petals.
I also found a small round and a small square vase, perfect size for what I wanted.
Of course my gold spray paint came out and decorated both of the vases a little. The square one got two thin stripes – – –

The round vase got a bold strip across the bottom too.
I love both of them and just the right size for my needs. How can you beat the price, $5 for both. Gotta love that.
