I have been purging like mad, so buying something new is not on my radar at the moment. I wanted to spruce up the bedroom with something bright and cheery for spring, and with all this purging, I am feeling really minimalist. Clean simple lines and no fuss was what I was after as I shopped the house.
Tangerine orange is always a fun bright color, so I went with it.
I kept the bed really simple with just two pillows.
A tangerine chevron throw adds color to the settee.
I am using one of my Schumacher’s Chiang Mai Dragon pillows. I love that fabric, it has tangerine and orange in it.
I kept the dresser pretty simple.
I put a tangerine and white candle in one of my large hurricanes. Some tulips, a couple of white ceramic fruit, my crystal clock and called it done.
The other side of the bed has my favorite frenchy chair and a little garden stool.
I added another Chiang Mai Dragon pillow to this chair too. It just brightens up this corner.
The adjoining en-suite got a little tangerine too with a couple of hand towels.
Another bouquet of tulips in a black vase adds just enough glamour to the counter.
All ready for spring on this end of the house, how about you, are you ready?
