Thrifted Thanksgiving Table

I believe a pretty table can be done with thrifty treasures found at Goodwill, the 99c Store and digging through my stash.

I added a little bit of bold color in my 2016 Fall Home Tour 11 – bright blue velvet pillows for some  added punch to my color scheme.  Since my dining area is part of the living room, I wanted to add a little of that blue to my table too.  I dug through my stash and found some pretty fall foliage, flowers, berries and a touch of blue.

I like for my colors to flow and this ties in the blue pillows and also the orange in the leopard pillows.

Brass candlesticks and gold chargers from Goodwill add glitz and sparkle to the table.

We have a simple tablesetting with the white octagonal plate from Goodwill and ivory flatware from my stash.  I found these fun salad plates at HomeGoods – $7.99 for 4.  I loved the pretty circles and of course you know I love anything gold.

The wine glasses I’ve had for quite a while.  I found them on the clearance aisle of Home Goods for $2.00 each.    The pretty water glasses are treasures that were left to me by my Mother-in-law.  I think these add a bit of elegance to the tablescape.

White candles from the 99c store are perfect on my Goodwill brass candlesticks.  I like to mix and match styles and sizes for interest.

A pretty table that didn’t break the bank or ruin the budget to put together.

I hope you got a few ideas about how to add your thrifty treasures to your table too.  Be sure to check back next week for Table #2.  We are having 12 for Thanksgiving, so I will be using the table in the breakfast area also.
