Fall In The Kitchen – Spooky Style

You all know that my favorite room is our kitchen.  When the remodel was finished, it was way more than I hoped it would be.  This house had the worst kitchen and worst layout, so few cabinets and really bad to say the least.  Now that it looks better and functions better, I love it.  I cook A LOT and we entertain really often so I like to change things up for the season.   So join me for a little Fall In The Kitchen – Spooky Style

With all that’s going on in the world and my life, I decided to use what I had on hand from last year and just do a repeat in the kitchen, I still think it is really cute and didn’t need anything new.

I think it’s time for a little “Spooky Haunting” happening in the kitchen.

I don’t go all out for Halloween, but it is fun to add a few things that I know our little 2 1/2 yr old grandson will have fun with.  My favorite “Happy Jack-o-Lanter” is always the center of attention this time of year.  He has such a fun happy toothy grin.  I don’t like scary so when I saw him and he was happy, he had to come home with me.  He’s been my favorite pumpkin for years.

A few spiders, black cat, skeleton and it’s starting to look like Fall In The Kitchen – Spooky Style.

This is just enough for my little grandson to enjoy and not be scared.  The Web, Black Cat, Spider, Skeleton & Crow all came from the Dollar Tree.  It’s amazing at how much they have for each season, so you can add a little bit of “scary” without breaking the bank.  (This is not a sposored post, I just like to share where I find things. )

The Skelton and Crow are a fun addition to this corner of the counter.

Even my little Pig decided to wear his costume.  Love his fun Witches Hat.

A really spooky spider and a fun little ghost are great companions for the Jack-o-Lantern.  I’ve added a battery candle for evenings.

Your unspooky kitchen makes me smile, even the pig got in on the fun. Just the perfect touch to make a little grandson happy.

Cute. Do you still recommend and refer all your contractors? I need some drywall work and maybe a few other things too

My contractor doesn’t do piece work anymore. He now works as a consultant for a couple of builders.

I especially love your happy pumpkin and pig dressed as a witch, but all of it makes for a happy and just scary enough kitchen for your grandson to enjoy. I always love your seasonal decorating.

Hey Marty – I know your cabinets are Swiss Coffee – Benjamin Moore, right?
What “sheen” did you use for them?

Please email your answer in case I forget and don’t re-read this post and your comment if you did it on it. I always miss those.

Thank you! Big hugs! Happy Autumn!
