I love to fill the house with Soft Summer Colors. Creams, camel, white, and touches of spicy browns seem to show up best with all the sunshing coming through my windows. Camels, tans and creams are my favorite colors no matter what time of year.
Our home has more windows than walls, so we always have a ton of sunshine. The way the sunlight streams through the front window is one of my favorite things about this room. It dances across the walls and furniture, making all my soft summer colors—creams, camels, and warm browns—shine even brighter.
It’s amazing how well my ficus tree grows with this much light. I have to keep it trimmed so it doesn’t take over the room. Good thing we have two‑story ceilings, because it’s already a little over nine feet tall.
