2021 Christmas Powder Room

I am finally starting a little Christmas.  I haven’t pulled out the tree yet, but I am starting with some of the smaller areas like the downstairs powder room.  This year I think I will use more neutrals with my decor.  I love the subtle understated look they give a space.  I started with pulling all the bins down and spreading them all out in the garage to see what all I had.  I want to use some of my old favorites from past years instead of buying anything new.  I must like neutrals because I really had a lot to work with.  Here is my 2021 Christmas Powder Room.

When I did the Powder Room Makeover earlier this year, it was so fun to see the room come together.  Builder grace bathrooms are really not much to see, so the black wall and all-white accessories gave the room a little character.  Keeping with the black and white theme for Christmas was just what this little room called for.

Cream and white trees and a pretty angel for the shelf.  Simple and easy.

This is a terrible picture, but this room is almost impossible to photograph.  The sink is in a bump-out area so the light gives quite the glare in pictures.  In real life it is really nice.

Now that my 2021 Christmas Powder Room is done I think I will start on the bedroom.  That will be an easy room so I can work my way up to the rest of the house.  Be sure to keep checking back for the 2021 Holiday Home Tours 11/29 thru 12/3 and the 2021 Christmas Home Tours 12/6 thru 12/10.  Each one of these tours showcases 30+ ladies sharing their Christmas Decor.

Very understated and pretty – I am leaning towards neutrals and mixed metals myself. Somehow this doesn’t seem to be the year for too much cheery red. maybe next year.

Marty, love the transformation when this was done, and still do! I think it’s one of those projects you might wonder the reason this didn’t happen sooner? Creativity strikes when you least expect it! I’m seeing more holiday decorating happening in my area, and guess it’s time for me to get on board too. I’m not a neutral decorator by any means – love as much COLOR as possible! I start with simple wreaths, with a bow I made, upstairs on each bedroom door – I call that my B&B holiday look and then make my way to the main level. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your readers!!
