Welcome to my 2021 Family Room Christmas. Our family room is small, but it is a place I love to add a little Christmas Cheer to for the seasons.
This year I went very minimal with my decor for the Family Room. Since it joins the kitchen and breakfast area, I let those two carry most of the Christmas decor and keep the family room area very very minimal.
Santa, one of his reindeer and some trees are my coffee table centerpiece.
The sofa is sporting one Christmas pillow that says Joy.
There really wasn’t a place for a large tree this year, so I opted to use my three small trees.
These are so fun and very minimal. Just a bow and one ornament for my decor. I used one strand of twinkle lights for all three trees. ( Try as hard as I could, I couldn’t get a pic of the lights on these three little trees, but they really do look amazing at night. )
Last year I had a small white flocked tree in the corner decorated with all the fun ornaments from my children as they grew up. This year I put that tree in the living room and gave it a totally different look with white, cream, brown and copper ornaments. You can see it here. This corner is now filled with my Ficus tree. It has really grown, and I don’t really have anywhere else to put it, so the flocked Christmas tree lost out.
I did another small vignette on the TV console.

I thought a set of twinkle lights for the ficus looked festive, so I added a small strand.

Beautiful, Marty! I really like the neutral color palette that still has all the Christmas vibes.
So pretty Marty. I have the twinkle lights on my tree and I did a video to show them and it was still hard to capture. I bet yours are so pretty at night too.
You have the simple and perfect touch, Marty, but all of your decor is beautiful. I love the trees and lights and especially, the throw pillows. I’m super big on those as well as throws. They are festive and cozy! The lights on the ficus is so sweet!
