My heart is shattered to pieces again, my oldest son Chuck passed away yesterday from complications of a lung infection. No he did not have Covid. He got a lung infection a few weeks ago and passed away yesterday morning. He was such an amazing and loving person and I am devastated. A mother losing a child just isn’t supposed to happen.
He and his younger brother were always together, like twins. Such a close relationship and so loved. The two of them always teased their older sister. Our entire family is crushed and can’t believe he died so suddenly. I will be away from blogging for a while to be with family and my Grandchildren. Chuck has a beautiful son and daughter that have lost their anchor. Please keep them all in prayer.
He’s now in Heaven with Jim, but losing both of them so soon is so hard to bear.
Oh, Marty! I’m so so incredibly sorry for your devastating loss. No mother should ever have to go through losing a child. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your son. I lost my oldest son eight years ago and truer words were never spoken when you say a mother should not have to lose a child no matter what their age. My prayers are with you and your family for comfort and encouragement and healing.

I am very sorry to hear this. I graduate with Chuck from Bend High back in 1980. It was always fun to catch up with him at reunions and other events. He was a good man.
