March Easter Pinterest Challenge

I am thrilled to be joining a wonderful group of ladies for the March Easter Pinterest Challenge.  This is where we are given an image and our challenge is to recreate the mood and feel of that image.  Sometimes that is easy and sometimes that is hard.

Today our image is a take on a casual Easter Tablesetting.  Spring/Easter Centerpiece from Worthing Court.  Suzy used a three-tiered tray to share some Easter bunnies, greenery, garden pots and candles.  She also displays a stack of dishes that she can grab to set the perfect table.

My take on this is a little different.  I don’t have a three-tiered tray, so I used a great cloche that I love and a few of my favorite Easter-type treasures.

I added a stack of dishes, some greenery, and a fun Bunny soup tureen,

Under the cloche, I used my bee skep, since the bees are out and pollinating everything right now.  My egg is an antique glass egg that belonged to my grandmother.  That beautiful wood cake stand is one my mother made for me and turned on her laithe.  It is one of my most treasured gifts.

I couldn’t resist this fun Bunny Tureen when I saw it years ago.  It is still so fun to use every year at Easter time.  He is just so whimsical.

This was a fun challenge to do this month, I loved pulling some of my favorite things together to create my version of Suzy’s fun tablescape.

If you came over from Postcards From The Ridge,  welcome.  I know she always knocks every tablescape out of the park, and I love her gorgeous jadeite.  Next up on the tour is The Ponds Farmhouse.   Be sure to click over and see her amazing version also.  I love how she pays attention to all the little details.

I always thought I’d make some table legs… Bravo on your spring cloches and bee skeps! I like the originality of your tablescape; beautiful!!!
