2022 Fall Home Tour – My Home

2022 Fall Home Tour – My Home.  I am thrilled to be starting off the 2022 Fall Home Tours.  This week we have 25+ ladies opening the doors and sharing their amazing Fall Decor with you – 5+ homes each day.  Let’s jump right in with my home and then be sure to check out the other 5 ladies sharing their homes today too.  You can see the entire lineup at the end of my post.

This year I am doing something a little different, I am sharing my home two ways – Early Fall and Late Fall.  Let’s begin with Early Fall and then I’ll show you how I transition it into something a little cozier for Late Fall.

Since our temperatures are still above 100 here in the desert, I wanted to do some fall decor that would be light with a soft neutral cool feel for Early Fall.  Our entry area is always a great place to start, so I kept things simple just allowing the artwork and my favorite leather chair to carry the color.

Across from the entry console is the main seating area. I love camel and chocolate colors mixed with soft creams, so that is what I decided to use as my color scheme for Fall.

Keeping the colors on the neutral side with light beige, camel, and cream, the room looks cool and welcoming.

Pattern and Texture in the pillows and throw blanket give dimension to the color scheme.

I kept the coffee table and accessories simple,  Wheat and leather pumpkins subtly repeat the soft camel color.

When the weather cools down, I like to warm things up a bit, so I switched out one thing to create my Late Fall decor.

I replaced the white throw blanket with a pretty soft chocolate one that I had.

Adding one deeper chocolate color made the room feel warmer and nothing else had to change.

Now I have a room that can be light and bright for Early Fall –

or warm and cozy for Late Fall.

The dining area tablesetting works well for both Early and Fall.

I repeated the use of leather pumpkins like the smaller ones I used on the coffee table.

Pretty candles and soft greenery is all I needed to finish off the table.

This was fun.  I now have two looks that I love and I didn’t have to reinvent the wheel.  I love the lighter look for now and in a few weeks I will really enjoy the warmer look when the temperatures cool down.  2022 Fall Home Tour – My Home.

Your home looks stunning all dressed up for fall – early and late! The touches of gold in the mirror and coffee table really stand out among the neutrals. And I guess with temps over 100 degrees, you must be looking forward to some cooler weather! Thanks for hosting us all this week!

Marty I love how you have shared your transitional looks. It is still rather warm here in Texas and I’m not quite ready for FULL FALL. 🙂 Thank you so very much for hosting.

I love the idea of early and late fall decorating. I’ve never thought of that before. I think that’s because things get so messy around here during the transition. Messiness makes me anxious so I tend to unpack everything, put it out, clean up and I’m done. Love your stunning decor and that table centerpiece with the antlers is aaahhhhmazing! So glad to join in this week. Now on to see more inspo! Happy Fall Marty.

I’m so fond of those leather pumpkins they work so well with your color palette and are very interesting. You have such an eye for putting decor together in beautiful ways! Happy Fall! xo

Marty–why didn’t I think of faux leather pumpkins?! Those are the cutest. It’s still hot here in DC and I agree it makes it difficult sometimes to focus on “Fall,” but the cooler weather will be here before we know it. And of course, that wonderful warm weather is part of why you live where you do! Always a pleasure to tour with you–thanks so much for organizing everything.
