Cooking Light – Penne Alfredo – Everything’s In The Fridge

Are you ever like me and you stand with the fridge door open and stare at it like it is going to tell you what to make for dinner?  I have the perfect dish. Cooking Light – Penne Alfredo – Everything’s In The Fridge.

This is all it takes to make the most delicious creamy Alfredo Sauce.

This is so simple and soooooooooooooooo good, your family will love it.  Start by adding 3 large tablespoons of butter or margarine to your skillet.  Whisk to melt.   Then add in 3 tablespoons of cream cheese.  Whisk to melt with the butter.  Make sure your temperature is not too high, you don’t want to burn the sauce.

After they are blended well together, add a little milk to create a sauce as the two melt and stir to blend well.  Add a small amount at first, then more as needed to achieve the creamy sauce you are looking for.

Add a handful of Shredded Italian Style Blend or Parmesan cheese and whisk to melt and blend in with the cream cheese and butter mixture.

Pour over your cooked Penne and add more cheese if desired.  I like to add a little ground pepper too.

How easy was that?  Add a small salad and some bread and you have an amazing meal.  Cooking Light – Penne Alfredo – Everything’s In The Fridge

Wow, this recipe for Penne Alfredo has completely changed the game! I completely get the feeling of pondering what to do for dinner when in front of the refrigerator. But with this easy recipe, you can make a creamy, savoury sauce with just a few staples from your refrigerator. I adore how adaptable it is—you can add your preferred cheeses and seasonings to make it your own. Additionally, it goes well with bread and a side salad. A must-try if you’re looking for a quick and filling lunch!
