My Birthday Fun. My youngest son has a Birthday on August 3rd and mine is August 12th, so we usually celebrate our Birthdays together with the family. Saturday was a big party day. All the family living here came over and brought Enchiladas, tacos, fabulous dips and tons of great snacks. I love being able to have all the family around, they are so much fun. I baked my son’s favorite German Chocolate Cake. I think we all ate way too much.
Tons of laughter and fun with the grands. I also love seeing all the kids laughing and joking with each other, so many wonderful memories of them growing up. My son and I were both spoiled with some beautiful cards and gifts.
Since my children know that I love to decorate, it was fun getting some new things to create a pretty new Fall Tablescape.
I thought I would use the breakfast table to showcase my new tablescape. So much fun with all the Fall vibes. I love all of falls colors, so this rusty orange was perfect for me.
Fun pumpkin table runner and cute check napkins. This reminds me of a fun fall picnic.
Some simple candles and the $1 Store flowers I showed you how to make are the perfect finishing touches.
I think my son and I were both pretty spoiled. He got some new shorts and a couple things for his street bike. I got some money, a couple of blouses and my daughter gave us all club tickets to a DiamondBacks game. That will be so much fun to all go together. My Birthday Fun couldn’t have been better.
We are learning to remember only the good times with Jim and Chuck. so we are progressing, however we all miss them so much. Sunday the 13th marked 3 years ago that Jim died and 17 months ago that Chuck died. I can’t help but wish they were here to enjoy our family time too. I know they are always watching over us from Heaven.
What a way to celebrate Birthdays! I think I’m going to do something special for my birthday in October! Loved your Mexican idea with everyone bringing something! Happy Birthday!
