Summer To Fall With Simple Changes

I have been thinking of Fall for a while, so I am thrilled to be joining Pasha @ Pasha Is Home for this fun Early Fall Inspiration Blog Hop. It is always so fun to join in with a group of ladies to share Fall Tips – Ideas – and Inspiration.  I am sure you will find tons of ideas to inspire you throughout this fun blog hop.  Check out how I Transition Summer To Fall With Simple Changes.

If you are coming over from Norma @ Paint Me Pink Welcome, I am sure you loved her beautiful Fall Decor.  Her ability to use the contrast of dark and light to create such warm and inviting spaces is a talent.

If you have followed me for a while, you know that I like to gradually redo a room.  I like to keep a few things I am currently using, swap out a few pieces for something new and more seasonal, and create an up-to-date space that fits the season we are in.  This was my 2023 Summer Home Tour – My Home.

Since this room is basically the same, I need to take a look at my current room and see what says Summer and what could also say Fall.   What can I add or take away to make a change that reflects the upcoming Fall season?  I still like the color scheme.  The soft rust and gray will work for Fall, but some of the accessories have to change.  Out with the purse, summer sandals, and straw hat. I could keep the gray theme going by just swapping out one pillow.

This looks more like fall and I only had to change one pillow.  I think I kind of miss the rust color.

If I change that one pillow again to something else, like the Blessed pillow, then I have the feeling of Fall.

I still have the soft rusty color that I like too.   This creates the feeling of the Blessings of the Holidays.

I also changed out the basket vignette on the coffee table for a simple plant and candle.  The orange candle in the glass hurricane creates a simple informal vignette that carries the rust color onto the table.

The Blessed Pillow is plaid on the back, so I could simply turn it around and have another different look.

Adding more masculine items to the coffee table instead of the candle hurricane has a more moody and masculine feel.

I still want more of the rusty orange color for Fall, so I need to go back to that look.  I love the rusty color but I do like the gray too, so maybe a pretty gray hurricane candle on the coffee table.

This works and I like it, I am just craving more of the rusty orange color.

I think I will just keep the same pillow assortment I have been using and only swap out the vignette on the coffee table.  I really like the candle hurricane with the orange candle, it adds more of the rusty orange color that reminds me of Fall.

I love the Blessed Pillow and will put that out later on.  I love using it to remind me of how very Blessed I truly am.
