I live in a fabulous neighborhood where a lot of the houses decorate for all the holidays. Halloween is kind of a big deal around here. In the past, I didn’t do any outdoor decorating, but living here you really need to get with the program. So I pulled out a few things I had leftover from past years and added a couple of new finds to create a fun Halloween On The Porch.

I am not into really scary or spooky, but some fun Halloween fits me best. I already had a colorful basket on the front door, so when I found this cute scarecrow welcome sign at the Dollar Store, it finished off the basket perfectly.

The other fun find for this year is my Scarecrow. I bought mine at Lowe’s but I have seen them all over. Walmart has them for the best price I’ve seen. They come in several different colors and as a boy or girl. This one had such a happy face, I had to pick him.

I brought out my soda crate and a few things I had leftover from last year to add around the base. My favorite is always my happy jack-o-lantern.

I am liking my Halloween On The Porch this year.

How about you, do you decorate for Halloween?

Looks like a very welcoming entry! I haven’t decorated for Halloween in at least 5 or 6 years. I ended up giving all my spooky stuff away and I probably won’t be giving out candy this year. One of my sons will turn 30 that day and I think I will take him some pizza!

Sounds like a party is better than handing out candy. Have fun. Marty
The Scarecrow looks a bit like Edward Scissorhands with the hay coming out!
Such a sweet porch, Marty. Love what you’ve done with it. We have some scarecrows left at Hobby Lobby, as well. 40% off!
Was wondering, have you decided to stop posting your link party? I keep coming back each week and haven’t see it for a month or so.
So cute Marty😍😍😍 I certainly miss our tours together – especially this time of year😊
