The Empty Chair Thanksgiving Prayer. If you have a loved one in Heaven, set a chair for them at the table this year and thank the Lord for the love and time you had with that person.
Like so many of you, we will have a couple of empty chairs at our table this year. Having loved ones in Heaven is hard at the holidays. I try to count my Blessings for the 36 years that Jim and I had. He was such an amazing husband and took such good care of his family. He always made sure I knew he loved me. He’s been in Heaven for five years now and I miss him every day. Losing a Child is a different kind of loss than any other. There is a hole in your heart that never seems to heal. Chuck has been in heaven three and a half years and is so missed by his brother and sister too. Both are remembered every day and talked about often. So many loving memories we have of all the fun and joy they gave us. As we gather with family and friends this year, we will say a special thanks and prayer for these special loved one and I hope you do too. HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
