Girl/Cave Office Christmas

When our house was built, the builder gave the option to have 4 bedrooms or 3 and a loft.  I am so glad the people that had it built chose the loft.   It is the loft area in our home that I claimed as my Girl/Cave Office.  I spend a ton of time here, so of course, I wanted it to have a little bit of Christmas.   I went through my stash and pulled out some of the same things I’ve used in the past in this room.  Sometimes a repeat is perfect.    It doesn’t take much to generate the Holiday spirit.  Welcome to my Girl/Cave Office Christmas.

I use this gate leg table as my desk.  It is the perfect place for me to blog, work on the internet, pay bills, and get lost in all your posts and stories.  From my desk, I can look over the railing and see half the downstairs areas so I always feel like I am in the middle of everything.  (It’s great cardio exercise too since I run up and down these stairs about a dozen times a day.)

I enjoy having a really comfy place to sit and relax and watch one of my favorite TV programs.  You can see the reflection in the mirror of the bookcase entertainment center on the opposite wall.  It holds the TV a Stereo and all my office supplies.  I like to decorate and change up the bookshelves too.

(You can see my post – “The Other Side Of The Story” here.)

My cute little carolers are really old.  I’ve had them for ages but they always make me want to sing along.  The Christmas tree has been around for a while too.  I usually turn on the lights, they make my desk even cozier.

I kept the accessories on the sofa and chair really neutral.  This isn’t a really large room so keeping the colors soft makes it feel more spacious, calm and inviting.

The wicker trunk is the perfect coffee table for this room.  The top tray holds a gold reindeer, Christmas trees, and a cute little gold birdhouse.

SHOP THE POST

Just the right amount of Christmas decor along with some wonderful Christmas music in the background and I can enjoy my Girl/Cave Office Christmas for hours.

I’m slightly envious of your ‘girl cave’ Marty! And I love that you added some holiday cheer to the space.

It all looks so festive and I’m sure really brightens up the space while you work!

Love the Christmas girl cave. Speaking of our very old and much loved Christmas decor-
Everybody raise their hand if they still have the Christmas crafts your very adult children made in elementary school.
    In our prayers Marty.

I love your Girl Cave! As with every room you decorate it is so inviting and looks to be a comfy place. I have a little girl cave also. But after seeing yours I need to spruce it up a little. Hugs to you Marty. Karie
