Our breakfast area is a cozy nook at the end of the kitchen. The trestle table seats 6 easily, and we can squeeze 10 in if we need to. That makes it the favorite place for the whole family to gather. Since Fall is right around the corner, I thought I would set a Simple Fall Tablescape.
My nod to fall is the silver gourd and my partridge. I love using two table runners. I think it looks much nicer than placemats and is less cluttered.
I think mixing metals is always pretty. Even though this is a simple setting, the mix of gold and silver creates texture and sparkle. 
Berries and greenery soften all the hard elements.
Simple and easy, a little glam but not fussy.
