Welcome to my 2022 Spring Home Tour – Part 2. Last week it was so fun to see all the amazing homes decorated for Spring when 30 fabulous ladies opened their doors to share their Spring Decor. I shared my family room, kitchen, and breakfast area on that tour. You can see that here if you missed it. 2022 Spring Home Tour – My Home. Today I am sharing my living and dining room.
Last week I was in the mood for tons of happy colors, so I shared my bright yellow and black in the family room. I love color, but sometimes I also love something soft and neutral. When I saw these pretty green pillows, they stole my heart, so I just had to use them in the living room.
Let’s start at the beginning. When you enter my home you walk right into my two-story living/dining area. Our home has an open floor plan so you can see all the way into the family room area in the back and the loft area upstairs. Since there isn’t a real entry hall, I have a console table on the long two-story wall as you enter.
Since I am going neutral, I kept the tabletop decor really simple. Some buds and a favorite cross.
The sofa is where I used those pretty green pillows that caught my eye. Everything else is varying shades of white and cream.
Since I’ve been switching out the leather wingback chair with a white one, I thought about bringing the white one back in, but I liked how the leather gave the room some contrast.
The coffee table holds two glass hurricanes and a pretty spring bouquet of Lillies.
The dining area is at the end of the living space, just one long room.
I kept the same centerpiece I had and just changed out the napkins to some soft green striped ones.
A totally different look from the family room last week, but I am loving this soft calming room.

I like the soothing shades of green you have used. The room looks very relaxing and calm. Pretty.
This is the same as our living room, green in the pillows, throws and some accessories, cream or whites on soft furnishings and dark woods with white and green florals. So serene. I also loved your bright colors last week. I especially love your wonderful collection of wall clocks. Your home is lovely and very inviting. The tours you arrange I look forward to each season. Must be a boat load of work for you.
