Summer Basket Centerpiece

Summer Basket Centerpiece.  I love creating a pretty table for out breakfast room.  This is where we eat most of our meals, so I like it to be pretty.

 

 

 

I used a simple table runner down the center of the table.  The place settings each have a gold charger, white plate, and plaid napkin that have the same colors as the flowers.  I used my gold flatware and some gold candlesticks that I had.  I finished off each place setting with a pretty gold base glass.

 

Instead of potted flowers like she used, mine are all faux.  I used a galvanized bucket I had instead of a basket. The flowers are a big assortment of things I had in my stash.  There’s a little bit of everything, but my favorite are the sunflowers.  To me, it looks happy and cheerful and says Summer.

 

This is a centerpiece that I can leave all summer.  Simple enough for every day or for company.  To change things up, a different place setting would be all that I would have to do.
