Thanksgiving Table Tour

We all love to create a pretty table AND inexpensively.  Most of us have a lot of things we could use if we think outside the box. Today I want to show you how to create something new and different just by shopping for your home.  Let’s have a Thanksgiving Table Tour of sorts.  Tables from the past that you can create with inexpensive finds from Goodwill, Thrift stores, or 99c Stores.   Also, be sure to shop your decor stash, I am sure you have tons of things you could use.

I usually host Thanksgiving, however this year we will be celebrating with all the family at my daughter’s new home.  I have company from out of town staying with us, so I will still create a pretty table for them that we can use throughout the week.

Thanksgiving Table

Even though we won’t be home, I like to have a pretty table set for the Fall season.  Today I am sharing my table in the Breakfast area.  Fall seems relaxing and casual to me so my table reflects that style.

I love to mix metals, so I’ve set the table with gold and silver.

I shopped the house to pull together my collection of gourds, pumpkins and acorns.  We have a mix of silver, velvet and wood but they all seem to work for me.

When you set the table with some of your favorite things, it always looks perfect.

Here are a few more Thanksgiving Tables from the past.

Life Of The Party Holiday Table

Add sparkle to your table with gold flatware, salad dishes and gold trimmed stems.

Thrifted Thanksgiving Table

Goodwill & Thrift Store finds can create a beautiful table.

Thanksgiving Table Pulled Right Out Of Goodwill

Almost everything on this table was found at Goodwill.  So many people no longer want their silver, so I usually find tons of silver and crystal.  Pick up a few pieces and create  several  different  fabulous  table.

Roses &Silver

Elegant Southern Country

Our lifestyle is mostly really, really casual.  This table that I created for Fall is one that could very easily transition right into Thanksgiving.

All I did was swap out the black and white check table runners for the fiber ones and it has a whole different look.  If you really love the farmhouse style, then by all means leave the black and white check, it is perfect too.

Change out the centerpiece lantern with something different, add napkins rings and you have a different table again.

Create a pretty floral centerpiece with things you find at the Dollar Tree and you have the perfect table that is elegant enough for Thanksgiving and casual enough for any gathering.

Create something fun and interesting that reflects your lifestyle and YOU.  Then it will be absolutely perfect every time.
